Janna’s story
Hi my name is Goondooloo
Jannali but every one calls me Janna.
I’m from Newhaven Station. I was one of the first group that came
off the station.
The trip was long from the station to my new home. I have travelled through 4 states.

I arrived at my home that I have now on the 7th August 2002. My owner’s name is Bindi.
Bindi and I are very good friends, she visits me almost every day. She brings me yummy food and treats, even if I don’t really need it as we have got lots of grass.
I live in a paddock with about 15 other horses, 6 of those are Walers and 3 of the 6 are Newhaven’s as well. We all stick together which Bindi and the other Waler owners think is funny.

Bindi and I are still learning how to work together. I was started with the Parrelli method and some of the groundwork is up to level 2, but my riding with Bindi is still at level 1, but we will get there.

Bindi
would like to take me trail riding, to do some small endurance rides,
some dressage and take part in some light horse parades.
We have already been to our local show as we have Waler classes
there, but we have only done the led mare at both of them.
Monty and I were filmed for the Stateline show on the ABC, which
was fun, but it was a really cold and wet day and Bindi had the flu.
I’m really happy with my owner; she takes really good care of me.
I do hope I can please her
and we get to do all the
things that she would like to do with me.
